Is there a plan to support MongoDB as a sink in RisingWave?

I am exploring the possibility of sinking RisingWave's Materialized Views (MVs) into our transactional MongoDB databases. While MongoDB is supported as a source via Kafka, I am interested to know if there are any plans to support MongoDB as a sink directly in RisingWave.

While there are currently no plans to support native sinks to MongoDB directly in RisingWave, a feasible workaround is to use the Kafka sink (in Debezium format) in combination with Kafka Connect and the MongoDB connector. This approach can help in sinking MVs into MongoDB databases. Discussions are ongoing internally regarding this matter, and further updates may be provided in the future.
