Is there a way to alter source info created from Kafka in Flink?

André Falk is looking for a way to alter source info created from Kafka in Flink due to a schema auth info movement from version 1.5 to 1.6. Xiangjin Wu mentioned that the source created on version 1.5 is not using schema auth info after upgrading to 1.6. Is there any solution besides recreating the source?

It seems that the schema auth info movement from version 1.5 to 1.6 in Flink may cause compatibility issues with existing sources created in Kafka.
Xiangjin Wu mentioned that a patch version (1.6.1 or 1.6.2) will be released to fix this compatibility issue.
Until the patch version is released, one possible solution could be to recreate the source with the updated schema auth info in Flink.
