I'm trying to run a heavy query like count(*)
on RisingWave, but I'm encountering an error message:
ERROR: QueryError: Scheduler error: No worker node found for parallel unit id: 1003
I haven't manually changed the CPU of compute nodes, and RisingWave is deployed via docker compose on my local machine. Here's my docker compose file:
# Docker compose YAML content
Can anyone help me with this issue?

It seems like the compute node, which is responsible for executing queries, is not available. This could be due to the compute node container stopping or crashing. To investigate further, you should check the logs of the meta node and the compute node using Docker commands. If the compute node container has stopped, you may need to restart it. Additionally, ensure that your RisingWave version is up to date, as using an older version might lead to issues. You can update the image version in your docker compose file to the latest one, such as v1.1.3
, to see if that resolves the problem.
