What's the difference between a streaming database and an OLAP database? How RisingWave is different from Snowflake?

Streaming systems (such as RisingWave) are fundamentally different from OLAP systems (such as Pinot, Clickhouse, Druid), in that streaming systems continuously process queries in an event-driven mode; while OLAP systems are designed to execute batch processing over large datasets. RisingWave can be integrated with OLAP systems to further analyze data.

RisingWave, a streaming system, can be integrated with OLAP systems like Pinot, Clickhouse, and others to analyze data further.
There is a trend towards unifying streaming and batch processing, but currently, there is a clear boundary between them.
