- RisingWave currently does not support stateful functions or changing SQL randomly on the fly for general cases.
- RisingWave does support creating one Materialized View(MV) on top of another MV, which may solve a subset of cases of upgrading business logic.
- The team is considering how to efficiently support changing SQL and state mutation in RisingWave in the future.
